As an undergraduate student of sport and exercise science at Judson University in Elgin, Illinois, Aron Hyde competed on the varsity soccer team, winning the NCCAA championship in 2004 and playing in the NAIA Finals in 2005. After earning his bachelor of arts from Judson, he attended Seattle University in Washington, where he obtained a master of sport administration and leadership in 2009. Aron Hyde has established himself as a skilled and knowledgeable goalkeeper coach who has worked for both the United States men's national soccer team and Major League Soccer (MLS).

From 2010 to 2015, Aron Hyde served as a goalkeeper coach for the Chicago Fire, an MLS-affiliated program that is based in the Chicago suburb of Bridgeview, Illinois. Hyde’s duties with the Fire revolved around the oversight of comprehensive training and match preparation for the organization’s first-team goalkeepers. He also helped with set pieces on match days and directed the Fire’s youth academy goalkeeping program.
